Our History

More than 30 years ago, Joe DiVita - a successful architect and award winning builder - envisioned bringing an exceptional client experience not only in the creation of home building, but also in real estate. Today, Joe DiVita and his two sons, Adriano and Gianluca - continue the initial envision of Metrohomes and focus full attention to urban markets, development partners, and its clients and customers. Metrohomes participated in more than 300 individual infill projects, of which, all completed by 2005. Over the past 15 years, nearly $500 Million Dollars worth of real estate has been touched by its core values of integrity and commitment. Throughout its history, we have chosen an experienced sales and support team to provide these core values to our clients alongside their ability to carry a professional relationship through any transaction. Today, the Metrohomes Real Estate Group holds one of the most distinguished awards in real estate: The National Chairman’s Club. Joe DiVita, Broker and Director of commercial real estate, based in Toronto, is a commercial real estate veteran at Royal LePage Signature Realty  and President of Quantum Capital Developments. Joe has a long record of successful commercial and residential transactions; his most recognized sale to name was the land assembly of Toronto’s most sought after address, 1 Bloor Street West. Joe has combined his dedication and experience to creating a giant footprint in Toronto’s real estate market. His full time attention to the urban markets has developed a strong entrepreneurial spirit with his partners, clients, and team members. Joe’s twenty-five plus years of experience allows him to offer a diverse range of expertise from representing clients of both purchasing and selling, for investments, and land development. Cori is a six year real estate professional, with specialties in both residential and commercial sales. Cori is seasoned in connecting both buyers and sellers in real estate from outside of Toronto and the country. Moreover, Cori’s ambition in Real Estate stems from her additional success of 3 years of construction and design for 3 years. Combining her skills in construction and design, alongside her passion for real estate, this was a natural and influential role in shaping Cori’s success in Real Estate. Her ability to engage and stay connected with foreign clients combined with her ability to guide sellers and buyers in marketing and purchasing property for the right price; undoubtedly highlights her talents in creating an exceptional real estate experience. Born and raised in Toronto, Nishad Lakhani got a taste of Real Estate at a very young age. Working with her Father she gained knowledge in construction and learned all the different trades and continued working on and off as a Labourer in the Construction Industry. Along with her husband, Shams, she bought her first piece of Real Estate in 2008 and hasn’t stopped since. She now invests in new builds, flips, retail and is managing rentals in both Residential and Commercial Real Estate. She now wants to give back and show you that you too can build your own Real Estate Empire. With 20 years of experience in the construction industry and her passion for Investing in Real Estate, Nishad Lakhani has helped her clients by placing their needs, goals, dreams and objectives at the forefront of every transaction. She provides prompt communication, high calibre negotiation and management skills in combination with her in-depth knowledge of the real estate market in Toronto and SurroundingAreas. Along with her experience as a Real Estate Investor in Renovations, New Builds, Rental and Commercial properties she has been able to provide her clients with valuable knowledge and skills to grow their Real Estate portfolio. Mortgage Agent

Matthew’s experience stems from the Debt Recovery business both in the private sector and for the Government of Ontario; while also pursuing his goals for a boutique Investment Management firm where he spent 14 years climbing the corporate ladder. In 2005 Matthew became a part-time Mortgage Broker and specialized in assisting homeowners ro save their homes from Foreclosure. In 2012, Matthew realized that helping clients achieve their dreams of homeownership was his passion and made the decision to become a fulltime Mortgage broker and ultimately joined Dominion Lending Centres, Canada’s largest independent mortgage brokerage.Since joining Dominion Lending Centres, Matthew, operating under the pretense that “Real Estate is the Foundation of Wealth”, has been helping his clients navigate the Real Estate financing quagmire. Determined to help his clients Acquire, Protect and Leverage Real Estate to create wealth and security for themselves and their families.His strategy; communication, education, and empowerment. This has allowed him to provide the right tools to his clients to make prudent and confident financial decisions. Matthew brings with him expertise in First and Second residential Mortgages, First Time Home Buyers and other hard to place mortgages such as Self Employed, New To Canada, commercial mortgages, providing the best possible rates, as well as money-generating and moneysaving advice.

Julian is a University of Toronto Alumni with degrees in Architectural Design, Environmental studies and Visual Arts. His eye for architecture and design has given him the skills to spot a diamond in the ruff, and help clients visualize spaces they may not yet see themselves. From a good investment to a great forever home, Julian will help you spot key properties you may have otherwise missed. Growing up in Etobicoke, Julian has studied every street inside and out, allowing him to carry a fantastic understanding of the west end markets and what’s available. Julian’s strong understanding of his client’s needs and wants have enabled him to achieve the best possible outcome for all of our clients.

Marketing, Website Design and Advertisement

Gianluca is a 2 year web designer for the Metrohomes Real Estate Group. His central focus is the key design layouts of website and editing new content on reports of current market analysis. Gianluca also aids in editing photographs for listings of properties as well determining the technical requirements for multimedia design, data bases for preconstruction registrations, webpage scripting and updates. Gianluca’s skill in photography and web design enables the Metrohomes Real Estate Group to accurately and precisely market our client’s properties with flawless web design on multiple platforms across different networks and countries around the world.
